About Kani Carbon Tabas
Kani Carbon Tabas was founded in 2015 by a group of shareholders with over 30 years of experience in the mining industry. The company was established with a clear goal: to apply modern engineering methods in the exploration, extraction, and processing of coal.
Its core operations began at the Chah Rakhneh thermal coal mine, located in the southwest of Tabas County. Covering an area of 6.10 square kilometers and with proven reserves of over 3.5 million tons, this mine has been central to the company’s growth.
Starting with an annual extraction capacity of 40,000 tons, Kani Carbon Tabas has expanded its output to more than 250,000 tons by 2023. This impressive growth reflects the company’s development-focused approach — combining technical expertise, integrated management, and ongoing investment in infrastructure.
With a strong commitment to innovation, sustainability, and operational efficiency, Kani Carbon Tabas plays an active role in meeting the country’s coal demand.
