Development Projects and Future Plans
In 2023, Kani Carbon Tabas launched Mine No. 2 and began the development of its briquetting unit. Extraction operations are also underway in Pit No. 3. Looking ahead, the company’s strategic priorities include expanding exploration activities, increasing production capacity, optimizing processing methods, and growing its presence in both domestic and international markets — all aimed at strengthening its role in Iran’s coal industry.
